First Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving day with the Perna Family, enjoying good company and delicious food!
Aidan, too young to enjoy all of the yummy food, did have his first taste of mashed potatoes and of course wanted more. Cameron had made 2 paper leaves for each of us and we had to write on them what we were thankful for. Throughout dinner Cameron would randomly select a leaf and read what we were thankful for. Daddy wrote he was thankful for a healthy delivery of our little Aidan. I couldn't agree more....Aidan has brought so much love and laughter into our life I couldn't imagine life without him.

Starting solid foods.....first up - Veggies!

We started Aidan on veggies tonight, starting with Peas. He was very excited to when he saw the spoon coming his way,
but quickly found out Oatmeal was not being served this evening.

He surprised us and ate half of the container. Not bad for the first night.
Overall I don't think he was thrill but we'll try it again tomorrow.

Daycare Cooties

After a month in daycare Aidan was home sick with a stomach bug. We took a trip to the pediatrician to make sure it wasn't the flu. After a fever of 102, projectile vomiting (very scary to see) and diarrhea we are on the mend and starting to feel better. A day in Mommy and Daddy's bed snuggling with Mommy was just what the doctor ordered. I loved spending the day cuddling with my little guy but I'm so glad he's starting to feel better.

This is how I roll.....

So I was finally able to catch Aidan rolling over on video. He has been rolling over for a while now but seemed to know when I had the camera out to catch him! I could stand there with the camera and he's look at me like What do you want mom - then the minute I'd turn my back he'd roll away!

5 months old

Today Aidan turned 5 months old and he's constantly doing new things. He's rolling over every chance he gets and it starting to push up on his knees. Won't be long until the crawling begins. His newest discovery is his tongue! He loves to stick it out when he smiles!

Happy Halloween

I couldn't decide on what to dress Aidan as for Halloween so he had 2 costumes. For the daycare parade on Friday he was a giraffe and for Trick or Treat he was Kermit the Frog. Unfortunately the Kermit costume only lasted a few minutes due to the 90 degree temps. Aidan was not in the mood to sweat in the costume just to look cute for Mommy. At least he lasted long enough to get some cute pictures.
